What is the Multimedia Editing Room?
The Multimedia Editing Room is a dedicated facility specifically designed for multimedia content creation and editing. It serves as a creative hub for individuals seeking to enhance and refine their digital projects. What can you do in the Editing Room?
The Multimedia Editing Room is equipped with top-of-the-line resources to facilitate your editing endeavors. It features Max Studio M2 machines, providing fast and efficient performance for seamless editing workflows. You have the power to transform your ideas into compelling digital masterpieces. With access to high-performance machines, including both Mac and Windows systems, you can leverage popular editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Davinci Resolve to edit videos, create stunning visual effects, and perfect your audio tracks. This room allows you to immerse yourself in the editing process and unleash your creativity.
How to book the Multimedia Editing room?
Like any other room in the library, you go to the Outlook and then book it in the Outlook calendar. Read the instruction here.
Editing Room Regulations:
- General library rules also apply to the use of the Editing Room
- Users must review the instruction guides for each piece of powered equipment that is desired to be used. If you are uncertain on how to safely operate machines or ask the staff in charge of the Editing Room.
- Available time: Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30. Saturday and Sunday: Unavailable (Except for Saturday working days). The maximum period of a booking per group is 02 hours per session per day. Booking may be made on the same day or at most 01 week in advance.
- Do not eat, smoke, litter, or spit. Maintain general hygiene.
- Removal of documents, software, or arbitrary installations on the computers in Editing Room are prohibited.
- Do not try to access any files that belong to another user.
- Use all the equipment, devices, and hardware in the studio with care. Do not arbitrarily move or take any property installed in the room without permission. Immediately notify staff in charge of Editing Room when detecting any failures or unusual problems.
- After recording, users should ensure the room is neat and tidy, put everything back in its place, and turn off the light and air conditioner.
- Take your computer, USB drive and other personal items with you. VinUniversity will not be responsible for lost or stolen items left behind in the Editing Room.

- Before you start working, make sure to save your files on an external storage device or cloud platform to prevent any data loss.
- Keep your workspace organized and clean, optimizing your efficiency and focus during the editing process.

- Utilize the available tutorials and online resources to enhance your editing skills and explore new techniques.
