Book a library Study Room

Are you looking for a private group discussion space where you and your group can talk, discuss and study uninterrupted? The VinUniversity Library has 25 rooms available to book online. Bookings is on a first-come-first-served basis. It must be a group of two or more, and can be created by students, faculty, and staff. 

The maximum period of a booking per group is 2 hours per session, 2 session per day, 4 sessions per week, all rooms combined.

Reservation may be made on the same day or at most 1 weeks in advance.  If a booking is no longer needed notification of cancelation is appreciated, while failure to show up within the first 10 minutes of a booking causes the release of the booking. The Library reserves the right to revoke the booking or ask occupants to vacate a room if the activity is deemed a disruption to the Library. The Library is not responsible for the security of personal items. Any items found in rooms after the end of the reservation period will be placed in the Library’s lost and found.

STEPS TO BOOK THE ROOMS IN OUTLOOK

Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook, open tab Calendar.

Step 2: Select tab New Meeting

Step 3: Fill in necessary information:

  • Select  Rooms, choose an appropriate room-> OK

  – Fill in the date and time to use the room

–          Fill in email address of participants in “To” row, key in “Subject” and your message in the email body.

–          You may set up the meeting Recurrence if necessary

–          Click Send to finish the booking
