VinUni Library’s Book Review Contest Winner Claims Top Honors in National Contest!
In July, VinUni Library hosted a highly successful Video Book Review Contest, which provided an enriching platform to celebrate the joy of reading and allowed students to share their thoughts and reflections on books that deeply impacted them. We are thrilled to announce that the contest’s Special Provost Bangsberg’s Award went to Ms. Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Hảo, who received a prize of 4 million VND for her outstanding review.
We are proud to share that Ms. Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Hảo’s video book review was nominated by VinUni Library to represent us in the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest run by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. This nationwide contest, launched in March 2024, attracted an impressive 517 outstanding entries from 60 provinces and cities, with participation from the Vietnam Blind Association, military universities, academies, and 43 colleges and universities across the country.
Our nominee, Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Hảo, a fifth-year student in the Medical Doctor Program, excelled in the national competition and won not just one, but two prestigious awards: First Prize for University Students Award for Innovative Ideas to Foster a Reading Culture
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support and sponsorship from Provost Bangsberg and Vice Provost Hong Ha. We extend our heartfelt thanks to both of them for their unwavering encouragement and backing.
Congratulations to our Reading Culture Ambassador, Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Hảo! Your dedication and innovative spirit have made the entire VinUni community proud!
